Contribution to Skills & Training

Awarded to the motion control company or organisation that can demonstrate a consistent contribution in relation to the delivery of professional training and skills development.



BFPA was formed in 1959, formerly known as AHEM, to promote the technical, trade and commercial interests of British Manufacturers and Suppliers of Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment. The Association is a very active member of CETOP – the European Oil-Hydraulic and Pneumatic Committee. BFPA offers a wide range of services including, technical, Marketing & Statistical Data, Commercial & Promotions, A Meeting place within the industry, Representation of Industry Views and International Co-operation.

entry criteria



Open to any motion control company or organisation that has demonstrated a consistent contribution in relation to the delivery of professional training and skills development.  You can nominate your company or another that you know or work with.


All entries must be submitted online. There is the option to save your entry and complete at a later date, but before the deadline date of 6th February 2020.



Additional supporting evidence including images, press cuttings, endorsements (anything deemed relevant to your entry) may be included. These can be attached to the online entry form or emailed to Hannah.



All information will be treated confidentially & will only be circulated amongst the judges. Entries are judged on merit only, with no reference to external considerations.

closing date
The closing date for entry is 6th February 2020. Please note this date is final and will not be extended.


All entrants will be informed by email as to whether, or not, they have got through to the final stage of the process after the Judging session in March.
